I am a board-certified obstetrican/gynecologist providing a full range of obstetrical and gynecological services for women throughout every stage of life. My commitment is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for today's woman in a warm and welcoming environment. The hallmark of my care is a focused and individualized approach to each patient in order to best achieve her health care goals. To address your health care concerns, I obtain a detailed medical history and a comprehensive physical exam. I am specialized in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. As a mother of two daughters I know about the fears and concerns of young girls and their mothers prior to the first gynecological visit. I take the time to gently guide your daughter through her first annual exam, explain the procedure and answer those important first questions. I understand it is a sensitive time and treat each young woman with special care and compassion. In addition, sometimes very young girls may also need gynecological help, if they experience vaginal itching, discharge, bleeding or discomfort.

During my recidency progam, I received subspecialty training in gynecologic oncology, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the female genital tract. My area of expertise is cervical cancer and its precursor lesions. I have a special degree in colposcopy. I provide the latest information and advice on abnormal Pap-smears and cervical dysplasia and offer HPV-testing, colposcopy and cervical biopsy prior to surgical intervention. I highly recommend HPV-vaccination for girls and teenagers to protect against the HPV virus.
